Why training and Nutrition have to be so complicated.
” Simplicity is, as simple as you make it” Anthony Liccione
2020 social media rage, a life lived on a constant update, too much information on the internet without any validation has made our life difficult to understand the word simple. There is a constant update on the internet by someone talking about some diet or exercise routine which magically helped them to lose weight or gain muscle, have you ever wondered what is the actual fact. What exactly did they do to achieve the physique that you are watching on your phone?
Most of these guys are professional figure athlete, bodybuilders, gymnast or selling some product to you.
” Keep it simple and focus on what matters. Don’t let yourself be overwhelmed ” Confucius
Training and diet are not that complicated as they make it sound, yes it can be confusing when everyone is selling saying their method is the best. Which one do you pick ???. NONE.
Stick to basic when it comes to training, first understand what is your goal & how many times in a week can you train and for how many hours.
Then program with
- compound movements
- Follow with isolations
- Finish it will some bodyweight movements ( optional )
- Very short metabolic workout ( optional ).
- add endurance training 2/3 times a week, can be on separate days or post weight training.
If you cant program it then hire a fitness professional who will guide you.
Nutrition, the most complicated of all . should I do paleo, vegan, high protein, keto, intermittent fasting, low carb list goes on.
To begin with stop white carbs and sugar in your diet, these two coming in any forms avoid it. Tada !!!
please note food is the source of energy, energy that is required for your body to function. eat as per the requirement or demand for your body. If you are going to have very active work hours eat accordingly and if not then don”t stuff your self with food. Basic rule of eating ——>>>> Fill half your plate with colourful veggies, ¼ with protein, ¼ with carbs. Add seeds like flax, chia, sunflower seeds to your veggies along with olive oil (all these for healthy fat).
Once or twice a week indulge in something you love to eat ( keep the portion size small)
This is a healthy lifestyle & not a diet.
hey, this is simple, isn’t it?
if you have any medical condition better see a professional nutritionist.
So keep It simple !!!!
